I would like edges to always be displayed in the forground. I have tried using the following settings but it does not seem to work:

graph.keepEdgesInForeground = true;

This is mxGraph 1.6.1.1 on IE 7/8? All browsers, or just one?

This works for me, however this configuration showed a syntax error in mxCellRenderer that will be fixed in the next release.
