With default settings the mxGraphComponent component, lets the user drag an vertex and by pointing at the centre of that vertex and dragging an edge so that it ends up with not being connected to any nodes.Then it will create a duplicate of that dragged vertex.

I tried by using graph.setMultigraph(false); graph.setSplitEnabled(false); graph.setCellsEditable(false); graph.setAllowDanglingEdges(false); graph.setAllowLoops(false); graph.setDisconnectOnMove(false); graph.setAllowNegativeCoordinates(false); graph.setDisconnectOnMove(false); graph.setCloneInvalidEdges(false);

but no use. Can this be prevented ?
