Hi, I am not sure if this has been asked before. I tried searching but in vain.

I have a vertex with an image filling it. So the label is not always visible. Is it possible to put the label on the outside edge of the vertex ? [desirable solution] or can someone help me put the text in a white rectangle and place it in the center of the vertex? [workaround]

any help will be great.

thanks, Yogi

Use verticalLabelPosition=top/bottom and/or labelPosition=left/right in the style.

This example avoids the label by moving the connection point of the edge.

Thanks. That worked!!!

Is there a setting for the label to avoid the edge? I mean for a vertex with the edge at the bottom, the label should be on top, and vice versa ? Thanks once again.
