Does mxGraph has an api for xPath type of operations? If not, is jQuery a good recommendation? any examples?

mxUtils.selectSingleNode supports XPath expressions, see specification for examples.

This method is no longer supported due to missing xPath support in IE9. The method was replaced with mxUtils.findNodeByAttribute. Please use Document.selectSingleNode/Document.evaluate directly for xPath support.
