The scenario is , when user clicks on any vertex the edge connecting the clicked vertex to any other vertex should be shown and the connected vertex should be highlighted. I am able to do this part. But my requirement is when user click on any are outside the vertex I need to remove the edge and connected vertex should not be highlighted. I am ale to unhighlight the vertices but not able to remove the edges. How is this done ?

Thanks in advance

Does the question relate to Java (JGraphX) or mxGraph (JavaScript)?

with each click on the vertex you create the edges and with each click you remove them ? So you need to have another structure holding the information about the connections.
