Looks easy, BUT, I have an Apache server testing with "draw.io-master.zip" from gitHub, and my entry page is http://localhost/draw.io/war/index.html ... so I end up passing parameters as they appear on the link above but NOTHING happen.

Here is the example...

http://localhost/war/index.html?url=http%3A%2F%2Flocalhost%2Ftest.xml

in the root of localhost there is a file named test.xml with a content like follows: < mxGraphModel ... >...< /mxGraphModel >

so, based upon your example my link was also suppose to work, BUT it doesn't.
