I have an application where the tooltip is applied for the vertex and the overlay. The overlay has an event onClick which launches another window. Whenever this new window is launched by clicking the overlay, the tooltip corresponding to the overlay remains visible. It does not hide unless I click on the tooltip or close the new window and perform any mouse action ( move or click ) on the parent window.

\n

I also noticed that for a celloverlay there is no mouseup listener unlike in the case for other cells(vertex or edge) where the tooltip handler is associated with all the mouse events where they perform the "tooltip.hide()". Could this be the reason?

\n

Kindly suggest a solution.

Thanks in advance :)

Try graph.tooltipHandler.hide() before launching the new window.
